Jen Pond, MMCFC, LPC
Marriage, Couples, and Family Trained Therapist and Owner
I became a therapist for a specific purpose- to help others. My own life experiences taught me the importance of finding support from someone who really listens and seeks to understand at a deeper level.
My experience includes working with an array of concerns like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and infertility, using a trauma-informed integrative approach grounded in attachment. I specialize in working with parents who have children with special or high needs and adoptive families. I have worked with clients who have complex trauma and other symptoms caused by disturbing life events. I am trained in EMDR, which is proven to help people heal from emotional distress and other symptoms. Most importantly, I believe success in therapy requires mutual respect and trust between client and therapist. Each person possesses within themselves the ability to heal and grow and we will spend our time in sessions doing just that.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, running and enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
