Renée Crank, MSW, Clinical Social Work Associate

Therapist

I have always been drawn to helping individuals navigate life’s trials. Having faced many challenges growing up, I sought my own therapy in late adolescence. This experience provided me with an adult who sought to understand and listen to me. Moving forward I can see that it was also what sparked my passion and enduring concern for people, how they relate to one another and view themselves. I have worked in Yamhill County for the last 20 years helping families with parenting, accessing resources and providing mentoring to adolescents. Now, as a therapist, I endeavor to combine my natural curiosity and empathy with professional knowledge to create a warm, nurturing and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I utilize a blend of evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs through a trauma-informed lens.

I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, gender identity, and LGBTQIA+ issues. When not working, I enjoy sitting on my front porch with my dog, reading a good book (I read, he listens), working on my latest craft obsession, spending time in the woods hiking, or kayaking.
