Tim Ide, MMCFC, Licensed Professional Counselor

Marriage, Couples, and Family Trained Therapist

After being a process engineer and business owner in the electronics field for my entire adult life, I decided to become a counselor. My reason for doing so was simple: a family member went through a life-threatening crisis and benefitted tremendously from therapy. After being deeply affected, I wanted to help others the way we were helped.

I work with a variety of concerns; trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, abandonment, and others. I use an integrative approach (why limit yourself to one tool when many are available?) leaning heavily on attachment theory. As part of this, I believe that achieving results in therapy absolutely requires mutual trust and respect.

When I’m not working, I’m riding a motorcycle, camping, contemplating an adventure therapy model, incorporating one or both of these, or all 3 simultaneously.
